Everyone experiences times in life that are difficult to cope with. Counselling can offer you a space to talk through issues which may feel confusing or overwhelming, without fear of being judged.
Talking through things that are concerning you can help you to view a situation more clearly and give you a greater sense of choice and control.
Counselling is not about ‘giving advice’ but rather about helping you to find your own solution to a problem. I will offer you honesty and respect and try to understand your situation in order that I might help you make sense of it.
People have counselling for many different reasons. Some of the issues that commonly bring people to therapy include feelings of confusion and unhappiness, a lack of self confidence, anxiety, feeling unable to cope or feeling that you have no control over your life.
